Salesforce Developer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to support our existing customizations as well as develop new features and functionality in Salesforce. Since we have a tightly integrated combination of Salesforce and NetSuite, experience with either Boomi and/NetSuite is a huge plus. This position reports to the Director of Systems Development.

The following highlights the daily responsibilities and experience required to be considered for the position:

Daily Responsibilities

Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations
Work collaboratively with other development team members on projects, enhancements, production issues and bug resolution
Adhere to change management policies and procedures (development, code reviews, deployments, etc…)
Review escalated system issues and bugs from IS Helpdesk team to determine if technical changes are required
Partner with Business Analysts to review proposed resolutions for bugs/issues
Create and maintain documentation for new & existing customizations
Skills

Required:

Salesforce Development/Customizations (API, APEX, Visual Force, Workflows, etc…)
Javascript, XML, JSON, FTP, SOAP, REST
Strong analysis and troubleshooting ability
Attention to detail, strong communication skills
Self-motivated, action oriented
Desirable:

Create and maintain Boomi-based integrations
Integration of Saleforce and Netsuite
Netsuite API (SuiteTalk & SuiteScripting)
SOAP and ReST API development and consumption
Experience

Required

Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years developing custom applications, OOP
2+ years customizing Salesforce and APEX programming
Preferred

1-2 years Netsuite customization and/or building integrations leveraging Dell’s Boomi platform
