Accounts Payable Coordinator
Job Description:
Industry leading organization in New York City with about 150 employees is adding an Accounts Payable Coordinator due to growth. The A/P Coordinator is part of a very team driven group that is responsible for accounts payable and travel and expense accounting functions for the company's US office and its domestic subsidiaries.
Some specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
·Full cycle A/P functions and processes
·Posting journal entries and assisting with the month end close
·Various account and journal reconciliations
·Account analysis
·Help automate and improve the A/P function
·Communicate with a number of internal departments on the status of payments
Requirements:
The ideal applicant will have:·BS in Accounting or related field
·3+ years of experience
·Prior A/P and Travel Expense experience
·Ability and desire to help automate; proactive attitude (i.e. how can I make things better)
·Experience with accounting software and Word, Excel
·Ability to work well with team; strong communicator
